Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Services


If you have experienced a cardiac event, or have been diagnosed with a lung disorder or disease, Lavaca Medical Center has the programs that allow you to recover at your own pace under the supervision of our experienced and compassionate team.

Cardiac:


A holistic, supervised exercise program designed to help you manage heart disease and assist in recovery from recent cardiac events, surgeries, or heart procedures.

Cardiac events often necessitating cardiac rehab:


Heart attack
Stable angina (chest pain)
Stent/angioplasty
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Valve replacement/repair
Congestive heart failure (CHF)
Heart transplant

Cardiac Rehabilitation Referral Form - Physician Use ONLY

Pulmonary:


If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, then ask your doctor if pulmonary rehabilitation may be the answer for your care:

Have you been diagnosed with COPD, Asthma, or another lung disease?
Do you get short of breath with normal daily activities?
Does shortness of breath affect your quality of life?
Are you afraid to do certain activities because of shortness of breath and/or because of oxygen use?
