Some nuclear medicine imaging capabilities include: visualizing heart blood flow/function, assessing lungs for respiratory/blood flow problems, analyzing bones, identifying gallbladder function/inflammation, identifying bleeding in the bowel, locating areas of infection, measuring the thyroid, localizing lymph nodes, determining size/shape of liver/spleen, and calculating the strength of heart muscle.
