Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Nursing Day Shift - Full Time - Nursing
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care duties as assigned and required. Qualifications and duties include, but are not limited to:
• A CNA in good standing.
• Willingness to be flexible and capable of maintaining regular shift attendance.
• Ability to relate positively with patients and families, and to work cooperatively with fellow employees.
• Works at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and visitors at all times.
• Answers call lights/bells to determine patient needs in a reasonable amount of time.
• Bathes and assists patients with daily grooming/hygiene routine, as needed.
• Assists with toileting and incontinent patients, as needed.
• Turns and repositions bedfast patients.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse/respiration rates, food/fluid intake & output.
• Reports pertinent patient information to nursing staff.
• Participates in quality of care activities and attends all required training and continuing education events.
