Central Supply - Purchasing Clerk - Part Time - Central Supply
Part Time Purchasing Clerk
High School Graduate, or Equivalent

- Familiar with computers & have knowledge of general clerical duties.

- One year of office experience in a medical setting preferred.

- Ability to follow routine written/verbal directions.

Essential Duties:
- Performs duties involved in purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials/supplies.

- Assists with inventory; performs clerical duties, acts on behalf of Purchasing Supervisor when absent.

- Performs all other duties assigned by the Purchasing Supervisor.

Experience: 1-year Medical Office (preferred)

Technical Training: Word, Excel, Knowledge of Hospital Software (preferred)

Physical Requirement: Duties of the position require extended periods of standing/walking, lifting up to 35 pounds and transporting up to 250 pounds on carts. Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of supplies and carts, bending, stooping and reaching to stock and distribute supplies.
