Environmental Services - Housekeeper - FT (Day Shift - 8 hours)

Duties specific to this job opportunity include, but are not limited to:
 Day Shift - 8 hours.
Reliable transportation to/from work.
Able to work every 3rd weekend.
High school graduate or equivalent (mandatory).
Experience in cleaning healthcare settings, such as hospitals, including all public and private areas.
Effective written/oral communication in following aseptic procedures/precautions when handling infectious materials.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and transport linen carts up to 300 lbs.
Must have aptitude and physical ability to use standard housekeeping tools such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and linen carts.
Professionalism at all times is a must.
Lavaca Medical Center is a 25-bed rural hospital located in Hallettsville, Texas. A rural health clinic, Lavaca Family Health Clinic, is located within the facility, as well.
